The Rector of the University of Bengkulu, Dr. Retno Agustina Ekaputri, S.E, M.Sc visited the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Saudi Arabia and the Indonesian School in Riyadh, on Sunday and Monday (17 & 18/3/2024).


This visit is part of a series of overseas business trips carried out by the Rector and Team to follow up on the cooperation program between UNIB and the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) related to the Establishment of the University of Bengkulu’s Teaching Hospital.
Accompanying the Rector were among others Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Mochamad Lufti Firdaus, S.Si, MT, and Vice Rector II for Resources, Yefriza, S.E, MPPM, Ph.D, as well as PMU team.
The visit of the Rector of UNIB and Team was warmly welcomed and full of brotherhood by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmad who was accompanied by the Education and Culture Attaché (Atdikbud) of the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh Prof. Dr. Badrus Soleh, S.Ag, M.A, Ph.D.
Likewise, at the Indonesian School in Riyadh, the visit of the Rector of UNIB and the team was warmly welcomed by the Principal and staff.



“When visiting the Indonesian School in the capital of Saudi Arabia, we discussed the initiation of cooperation, the Freedom to Learn (MBKM) program, the International Community Service program, and so on.”
“The Indonesian School in Riyadh welcomed it and hopes that this cooperation can continue,” said Prof. Mochamad Lufti, while hoping that the results of the visit to Saudi Arabia will not only have a positive impact on the Establishment of the University of Bengkulu’s Hospital but also increase international cooperation with various parties.
