PRESENCE of a number of academics and researchers from various universities in Asia in the framework of RENPER Council Meeting at UNIB on April (26-27 2019), is also used to increase the academic atmosphere in each faculty of UNIB.

On the sidelines of the international meeting, academics from Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and India were invited to become guest lecturers in a number of classes to provide motivation and enrichment of knowledge to UNIB students in accordance with their respective fields of study.
The faculty that utilized this momentum, namely, Faculty of Engineering which invited Prof. Haslan Abu Hassan from Universiti Sains Malaysia to deliver lecture material with the topic “Hydrogen Gas Sensing by Nanocrystalline SnO2.” The lecture was held in FKIP building at 10:30 am – 12.00 pm and was attended by dozens of students.

Then the Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Management, Department of Development Studies and Postgraduate Program in Economics were also following. For the Management Department, the lecture was held in hall of Master of Management at 10.00 am – 12.00 pm by inviting Prof. Dr. Nik Maheran from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan who delivered a lecture on the topic “Decision making practice in the era of disruption.”
Then, the Department of Development Studies held a lecture in the hall of the Postgraduate of Economics by inviting Prof. Dao Thij Thieu HA who is the Dean of International Economics Faculty, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The topic he delivered was “Financial Inclusion & Poverty.”

And in the Hall of Post-Graduate of Economics, at 03.00 pm – 05.00 pm, the lecture was also held with the topic “Workshop on Socio-economic Research Future” which invited Prof. Dr. Wan Ahmad Amir Zal from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan as the material conveyor.
Faculty of Agriculture of UNIB also invited one of the delegates from RENPER Council Meeting 2019 to become guest lecturer and share knowledge with students. The guest lecturer presented was Prof. Dr. Zulkilfi Idrus, as Deputy Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia. Lectures are held in room 4 of GKB I Building, at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with the topic “Poultry Stress Biology and Welfare.”

Faculty of MIPA, Department of Biology also invited Prof. Dr. Sudarsanam as the Department of Biology and President of the International Office, Sri Venkateswara University, India, as a guest lecturer on lectures with the topic “Ethno-botany” held at FMIPA hall at 04.00 pm – 05.00 pm.
further, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK). The youngest faculty at UNIB invited Prof. Dr. RK Anuradha as the Department of Home Science and Registrar, Sri Venkateswara University, India, as a guest lecturer on joint lectures in FKIK hall at 04.00 pm – 05.00 pm with the theme “Overweight and obesity among school children in India: Insight for Indonesia. “
