UNIB Signed MoU with University of Dundee

Besides to developing partnerships with various universities in Indonesia, UNIB continues to collaborate with abroad universities. This is done to improve international relations in line with the institution’s vision of becoming a World Class University in 2025.

The latest news, currently UNIB has added a list of MoU’s with abroad universities, with the University of Dundee (UoD), England. This university is ranked as the world’s top 200 based on the Times Higher Education ranking in 2018 .

The signing of the memorandum of understanding between UNIB and the University of Dundee was carried out by  UNIB’s representative, Head of Office of Partnership and International Affairs (UPT KSLI) of UNIB, Yansen, Ph.D, at a series of events in the Forum Meeting of Vice Rectors/Directors of Partnership Affair of Universities in Indonesia, 9th of November 2018 at the Horison Ultima Hotel, Palembang, South Sumatra.

After signing the MoU, Head of KLSI UNIB, Yansen, Ph.D also followed up meeting with the University of Dundee’s Vice Principal (Research, Knowledge Transfer and Wider Impact), Prof. John S Rowan.

The meeting discussed opportunities and plans for the implementation of the signed MoU. There are several points agreed upon to be followed up, for example mobility programs for lecturers and students, opportunities for further study and research cooperation.

The Forum Meeting of Vice Rectors/Directors of Partnership Affair of Universities in Indonesia took place on November 9th – 10th , 2018 in Palembang. “I represent Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNIB who is unable to attend,” said Yansen.
