Collaboration of UNIB-UniSZA to Realized in the Form of Student Mobility Program

On April 2019, University of Bengkulu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Sultan Zainal Abidin in Terengganu, Malaysia. The signing was carried out by Rector of UNIB Dr. Ridwan Nurazi and Vice Chancellor of UniSZA, Prof. Hassan Basri.

After the MoU was signed, in July – August, 8 students from UNIB conducted an international community service mobility program at UniSZA to enhance cooperation between UNIB-UniSZA, on 6th of August 2019, a follow-up meeting was held between UNIB and UniSZA at the UniSZA campus, Kuala Nerus Terengganu – Malaysia.

On this occasion, Head of Office of Partnership and International Affairs (KSLI), Dr. Yansen, met intensively with several parties at UniSZA. Specifically for the implementation of mobility program activities, UniSZA was represented by the Dean of Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, Prof. Wan Abdul Azis.

The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, one of which will be a place for International Community Services of mobility program. The implementation was attended by students from various faculties.

During the meeting, both parties agreed to increase cooperation to be carried out in the form of research collaboration and lecturer exchanges. Both parties agreed to process the agreement further to become an umbrella to all activities later.

After meeting with the parties of UniSZA, Dr. Yansen took the opportunity to visit UNIB’s students who were implementing International Community Services in Terengganu. All activities are carried out smoothly. Students get full support, assistance and guidance from UniSZA.[Hms1/KSLI/eve].
